The time has come for all of me and my high school friends to depart on different paths. Yesterday I moved into St. John's University as an official student at 4:30 p.m. (I was late). The summer has ended and the grind is soon to begin. It's definitely time to plant the seeds to my future tree. Me and Cia.E are now enrolled college students, and we are also now apart. She has stayed in CT while I have ventured off to the big NYC! We will continue to blog and try to build our fan base at our separate campuses (I don't know about Cia though...you know how she do lol). We have left the building but don't sleep on us because we are still striving to be the best.

In these difficult times, deals are hard to pass up. Me and Cia.E decided to try the "2 for 20" deal at both Chili's and Applebee's restaurants. Here is a review

Chili's:

Cia.E seemed to especially like the food and the service here. The restaurant is widely known and has a large fan base (if restaurants can have those). Chili's has a southwestern flair with items on it's menu such as Fajitas, Quesadillas, and Tacos. The service was quick and friendly, so a tip was well deserved. The Chili's "2 for 20" deal includes ONE appetizer to share (half order), TWO entrees of your choice (from the list of things that is part of that deal), and ONE dessert for two to share. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would definitely take advantage of this offer again.

Applebee's

Like Chili's, Applebee's is a well known restaurant also. Applebee's menu consists of a melting pot of different dishes from all types of cuisine like Burgers, Fajitas, and Pasta. The way that the deal works is that you must put in your order all at the same time, i.e. appetizer and entree. Because of this, everything basically came within five minutes of each other, so our food came when we had just started working on the appetizer. We also went early in the day when they virtually had no customers btw. The "2 for 20" deal includes ONE appetizer to share (full order), TWO entrees of your choice (from the list of course), and no dessert. Also, I will like to add that Chili's had at least 15 items to order from in their deal and Applebee's only had about 6.

Now, Cia.E decided that she was going to order a Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae for a dessert. We were already full from the appetizer, and took our entrees to go. Without even explaining just look at the pictures.

By that last picture, I had told Cia.E I hate her countless times for ordering this, and I had also felt as if my stomach was about to literally burst.

Oh Winter Jacket, how I love thee. But I must let thee go. I saw these Wings + Horns Fall/Winter 09 Jackets on Highsnobiety today and finally felt the sensation of love. I nearly died when I peeped these. My pea coat lasted me for two years and is still going strong but I feel like I need a newer sexier model. The jacket is a mixture of leather and cashmere (so it ain't cheap, no pleather and fuzz 'round here). This is the result of a Reebok and Uslu Airlines collaboration. This perticular sneaker is called the Retroball for it's disco ball look. These shoes make me feel like i can "Fly Away" and go "Walkin' On The Moon" lol. I think that Reebok is really trying to get back to being a major contender in the sneaker world and I say: good for them. More than meets the Eye

The number one movie in America? Heck yeah! Today while viewing this ultimately greatly superbly produced movie, I noticed that all the elements that make a movie great were present. Now i'm not an action type of girl, but this movie redefined action and made it more tasteful! I loved the graphics that made it blend in to the real world so fluently, Kudos to those graphic creators! The mix of action, romance and comedy kept every single head in theater 5 staring intently to find out what was bound to happen next. I definately have to give a shout out to the comical parents of the protaggonists, especially his "reffered up" mom (lol). Hope I'm not giving too much away, but they main point is this is a Must See, if you haven't already. Oh yea, the most important part of the experience of watching that movie is that i got to use my student Discount!! Wooh go college! (lol)

Most people have bad habits that they rarely pick up on, and can be considered as bad etiquette. This bad habits may not seem to be troublesome, but to be considered as a lady or a proper gentleman in today's society good etiquette is a plus. I am going to just touch on the most common and overlooked things that people often forget:

Splitting the bill: Sure it's nice every now and then to go out with your friends and share a dinner. I mean Keem and our friends do it monthly but the problem jumps in when the bill arives. Nowadays we get split checks in advance, but there are time when we dont. When those times occur it is important for you to know that splitting the bill is the most important thing and paying a little bit more. It doesn't look too proper when you have pennies and dimes on the table to make it the exact amount of your meal!
RSVP: There is a reason people put these 4 letters on invites or cards. Its not because it looks good or enhance your vocabulary(no reesavapee is not a word), but it is actually there so you can respond to let them know that you got the invite and if you are going to attend. Many times people have to pre-order items for their guest, so do yourself a favor and reply to the invite so you can get yourself an incentive.
Parking Spaces: Road rage is not only considered on the road but in public parking places also, So if you have passed a spot don't go doing your fast and the furious trick reversing in the spot...be courteous and let the next person get it.... I mean come on... You will probably find a better space rather than stealing someone else's.
Bodily Fluids: Okay okay... I am a criminal of this one and it is definatly not lady like but I am breaking this habit. But spitting... in public... it's not cool guys. Especially when you spit out somthing the size of Texas. Because it is public people have to walk by and see the gift you left mother nature. If you can help it grab a tissue it looks better...
Convo: Don't let your conversations become all about you... It is really rude when you have to hear someone talk about themselves and not ask about the other party... Dont be etiquettely retarded!!!

On November 4th 2008 we as American people felt such pride and such unison. At exactly eleven o' clock p.m., more than 75% of this country cheered, laughed, and cried over the Barack Obama's victory. I, for one, felt a great sense of inspiration and empowerment. After reading his book and following his campaign I began to tell myself "hey you can mess up a few times and still have a shot to become president of the country". Barack Obama embodied the much welcomed change that America longed for, but somewhere a long the way...we got lost. It seems as if the hope that once shined brightly in all of our hearts had somehow become dim and un-noticed. When did our faith become weak again? When did we continue our regular agenda? People still steal, scheme, cheat and lie. Don't get me wrong, Obama is doing the best he can (in my opinion), but it doesn't seem as if we're continuing his message of change and hope for everybody; not just through government help but from the inside. What happened to change? What happened to hope? What happened to us?

I’m trying to understand what possible motivation you may have had for
publishing that vile cartoon depicting the shooting of the chimpanzee
that went crazy. I guess you thought it would be funny to suggest
that whomever was responsible for writing the Economic Recovery
legislation must have the intelligence and judgment of a deranged,
violent chimpanzee, and should be shot to protect the larger
community. Really? Did it occur to you that this suggestion would
imply a connection between President Barack Obama and the deranged
chimpanzee? Did it occur to you that our President has been receiving
death threats since early in his candidacy? Did it occur to you that
blacks have historically been compared to various apes as a way of
racist insult and mockery? Did you intend to invoke these painful
themes when you printed the cartoon?

If that’s not what you intended, then it was stupid and willfully
ignorant of you not to connect these easily connectable dots. If it
is what you intended, then you obviously wanted to be grossly
provocative, racist and offensive to the sensibilities of most
reasonable Americans. Either way, you should not have printed this
cartoon, and the fact that you did is truly reprehensible. I can’t
imagine what possible justification you have for this. I’ve read your
lame statement in response to the outrage you provoked. Shame on you
for dodging the real issue and then using the letter as an opportunity
to attack Rev. Sharpton. This is not about Rev. Sharpton. It’s about
the cartoon being blatantly racist and offensive.

I believe in freedom of speech, and you have every right to print what
you want. But freedom of speech still comes with responsibilities and
consequences. You are responsible for printing this cartoon, and I

The Super Bowl coming up this Sunday, it is not only known for the sports but it's advertisement endeavors. Why you ask??... Well Duh product promoters know that it is the only day that fans of all different sports, nails, clothes, and whatever gather around to watch the big event.(ie. myself, who doesn't even know what goes on while i watch it lol). But anyways, because of so many views, there are commercials on T.V that captures the viewers attention and draw them in to buy their products. Some of you by now may be scratching your head asking "Where is she going with this?", well I'll tell you...
Did you know that 30 seconds of air time cost around 3 million US buckaruees!??? Why 3 mill? Because all of you "fake fans" choose to watch this big event on this one specified day! Don't worry I'm fake too when it comes to this... but yea.... What makes it funny is that some Organizations are so desperate to save money that they have one second ads.. I doubt they would air these ads over National TV but if you look it up on youtube, im sure you'll find it. Hopefully when you view it, you can figure out what they are advertising! lol

It's true we're in a recession. But do many of you guys know why we're currently in recession? Well the reason why we're in a recession is because people are not buying things. This is why you see major companies shutting down and closing their doors forever (R.I.P. Circut City), people get laid off from their jobs, and it seems as if we're in despair. Money is not being circulated throughout the country, hence our dollar is weaker because it does not hold the same value that it once did when people used to spend like it was going out of style. Now I'm going to sit and rant to you about our economy because, let's face it, IT'S DEPRESSING!!!! (to say the least) You can be smart with your coins and still not be cheap.

p.s. If you're old enough for this due to recieve one of those shiny new stimulus checks (which I doubt because I don't think our fanbase is that diverse yet), don't take it and make the rich become richer i.e. pay bills.

I love photography and all the artistic possibilities it has. One day I'm going to be able to afford a camera like this. This is the Nikon D700. It has 12.1 megapixels, 3-inch display, 51 point autofocus, scene recognition, four-speed active dust reduction, ISO up to 6400, 5 or 8 fps full resolution shooting, HDMI out, and I'm sure there's more where that came from.

Translation: It takes really really nice pictures

It costs $3,000 for the base, and up to $2,000 for additional lenses. I need to keep stacking my pennies if I'm to ever get something like this. I guess I'll have to stick with my Black on Black 14.7 megapixel Samsung TL34HD. (The picture is the silver and red one)

Today was the last day of Midterms at my high school and I must say it's a bittersweet feeling. I basically only had two midterms, the rest were just a "for what?" My English exam was annerving because there were 3 short essays to write on top of other things, but I finished most of it in time. My AP Calculus exam was the absolute WORST, I swear I guessed by the number that I liked the most. I mean, I tried but it just did not help. I really need to pray that I guessed right and end up passing that thing.

1.22.09 Marked the official last day for me to ever midterms EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER again in my high school career. What can I say, tests are tests and there are no ways get past them. So I tried my hardest on each exam. The hardest part of exams were me overcoming my fall over a paper ball lol (I have no coordination). They're over YAY!!!!

Of Course in the new year of 2009 movie producers try to get the Best movie features out with the best plots and etc. Well in my latest movie rush I chose to view these two films. For you clueless loves these two films are my Blood valentine and Notorious. As you will be seeing in the future I clearly am indecisive but this time I actually have something to say about these movie for sure and no they aren't fickle answers.
I went to a local Theater to see these films. I was quite alarmed at the prices i had to pay (darn economy), but it was worth it for B.I.G. I would claim Notorious to be a "Must see-er". It depicts Wallace's life so well and it was quite funny too. Now shame on me for saying this but i never knew much about Christopher Wallace's life but after viewing this, i felt as if i read his whole life story, which is the way the movie should have been put together. I got a few laughs and teary eyed and that's just how i love my movies. KUDOS to you producers.
Now for My Bloody Valentine...tsk tsk tsk. I could have sworn I paid to see a horror film...Especially how I had to pay extra for those darn 3D glasses. Beggars cant be choosers huh? I definitely give it a thumbs down!!!! Matter of Fact 2 thumbs down. lol But what i am pleased about is the initial idea to but their viewers "in" the movie. The plot was okay, but I just hated how the cliché events happened in the horror movie. Example: Victims running while the killer walks and still catches up. I mean come on it is 2000 mother crappin 9. Get with the program. I laughed way too much in this movie though, i guess seeing ppl die in horror movies is hysterical in a sense...but anyway that is enough raving for me. Until next time
